With Lean Production to Better Business Performance

The core idea of lean manufacturing is actually quite simple – relentless work on eliminating waste from the manufacturing process.

What is waste? Waste is defined as any activity that does not add value from the customer’s perspective. According to a research conducted by the Lean Enterprise Research Centre (LERC), as much as 60% of production activities in a typical manufacturing operation are waste.

Our company has long ago laid the foundations by implementing the Kaizen method of continuous gradual improvement, which we named Top idea, and the 5s method, which we have upgraded to 6s with security.

In the previous year, we invested a lot of energy in comprehensive productive maintenance (TPM), which is systematic work aimed at eliminating the main losses of production assets and not only maintenance, and as a result improved the efficiency of using our production assets and employee satisfaction.

This year we plan to automate the management of production assets maintenance, combining tools from the ERP software and our proprietary solutions, such as the Smart Control and Communication System (IMCS).
